Hughes Krupica – CSR/ESG – Phuket Social and Labour Development Department – Care Packages and Noodle Station

17th November 2021

November 2021 was a tough month, with issues relating to a new ‘variant’ of COVID19, not unexpected given the pattern of evolution of a virus, but yet still a challenge for global and domestic institutions alike. At a micro-level, people continue to suffer and face shortage crises of food and essentials. In October 2021, the Hughes Krupica team had assisted the Phuket Social Development Centre with some general sustenance and care packages. We were called by the same centre to assist in November in the presence of the Minister for Social Care and Development, with more care packages but with multiple contributors, booths, noodle cooking stations and a general community oriented planned event.

Our contribution would have been by no means the largest, but every contribution makes a difference and also goes directly and efficiently to recipients of the packages without any bureacratic hurdles or red tape.

Throughout the year, different community members suffer setbacks and face hardship, so a contribution at any time is always welcomed. Contact details of how to contribute are on this page.
