Yosita Wankeaw (Earn)
Associate, Phuket
Khun Earn is an Associate in our Phuket office. She works mainly on dispute resolution and represents clients, particularly foreign clients, before the Thai courts. She also advises on real estate, corporate, licensing and regulatory matters for Thai and international clients.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Thammasat University in 2022 and is a licensed attorney-at-law in Thailand. Before joining Hughes Krupica she spent four years with a law firm in Phuket. She was born in Ubon Ratchathani.
Experience
- Litigation: four years of civil, criminal and labour litigation before the courts and in arbitration, including witness examinations and taking cases from filing through to final resolution. Her cases cover real estate and land, contract disputes and disputes arising from business operations, and she drafts demand letters and legal notices.
- Corporate and commercial: company incorporations and corporate housekeeping, including arranging and running shareholders’ meetings and attending and voting as proxy for Thai and foreign shareholders.
- Real estate: legal due diligence on land, including title documents, ownership and title status, and registered encumbrances and restrictions, as well as condominium juristic person registration.
- Regulatory and licensing: business licences and permits, including restaurant operating licences, and dealing with the Excise Department.
